Academic Standing
Currently enrolled at Dawson College with good academic standing (GPA ≥ 2.5)

Do I need prior robotics experience to join?
Not at all! We welcome members at all skill levels. Our workshops and mentorship programs are designed to help beginners get started while providing advanced challenges for experienced members.
What is the time commitment for members?
Full members typically commit 4-8 hours per week, including meetings, project work, and workshops. Associate members have more flexibility with 2-4 hours per week. We understand academic priorities and work with your schedule.
Are there membership fees?
There are no membership fees for Dawson students. We provide all necessary equipment, materials, and training. Volunteers and mentors participate at no cost and receive recognition for their contributions.
When can I apply?
We accept applications year-round, with main recruitment periods at the beginning of each semester. New member orientation sessions are held monthly to help integrate new members into ongoing projects.
What programming languages should I know?
We work with various languages including Python, C++, and Arduino C. Don't worry if you're not familiar with these - we provide comprehensive training and pair new members with experienced mentors.
